The Valentine’s Day celebration on February 14, 2024, brought unique joy to the residents of the Ophthalmology Department at Prof. Ngoerah Hospital Denpasar. In a warm and lively atmosphere, the residents organized a gift exchange as part of the celebration. 

The event, held on February 16, 2024, took place in the Wiksa Locana Hall of the Cempaka Building. Each resident was asked to bring a gift of a predetermined value. These gifts were then collected and distributed randomly. Participants were visibly enthusiastic and excited as they unwrapped their gifts, filling the room with laughter and smiles.

“This event is not just a Valentine’s celebration but also an opportunity to strengthen the bond among residents. Amid our busy schedules, activities like this help us get to know each other better and share happiness,” said Dr. Weka, one of the senior residents.

In addition to the gift exchange, the celebration featured fun games and a communal meal. A special menu prepared by the organizing committee of residents added to the warm and enjoyable atmosphere. Residents also took turns sharing words of appreciation for their colleagues, further deepening the meaning of the celebration.

With the success of this event, the residents hope that the Valentine’s gift exchange tradition will continue in the years to come as a symbol of togetherness and familial spirit among them.
