On June 5, 2024, the Department of Ophthalmology at Universitas Udayana hosted a special event to celebrate the birthday and retirement of Prof. dr. N.K. Niti Susila, Sp.M(K). The heartwarming event was attended by consultants, residents, and all staff members from the secretariat and eye clinic at Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital.

The event began with warm speeches from the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology and the Head of the Ophthalmology Study Program, expressing gratitude for Prof. N.K. Niti Susila's years of dedication in educating the next generation of ophthalmologists. A symbolic moment of candle blowing and tumpeng cutting became the highlight of the celebration. Prof. N.K. Niti Susila blew out the birthday candles and cut the tumpeng as a gesture of gratitude for her age and years of service.

As a token of appreciation, consultants, residents, and staff presented special gifts and roses to her, symbolizing their respect and admiration for her significant contributions. The event continued with a communal meal, creating a familial atmosphere as everyone enjoyed the prepared dishes.
