Udayana Opththalmology Study Program’s Achievements at PVSM 2022

Perdami Virtual Scientific Meeting (PVSM) was held again on September 16 to 25, 2022. PVSM was attended by all Perdami members, ophthalmology residents, and general practitioners who were interested in topics that presented at PVSM. PVSM was a forum for all participants to update their knowledge, both from topics given by the best speakers and also through scientific work competitions such as free paper competition, e-poster competition, and surgical video competition.

On this event, Udayana Ophthalmology Study Program was proud of the achievements that have been achieved by Dr. dr. Putu Yuliawati, Sp.M(K) as the 1st Winner of Surgical Video Competition. She presented an operating technique video from her abstract with title “Gunshot Injury with An Intra Orbital Unexpected Dispersed Nonlinear Bullet Trajectory: A Case Report”. Dr. dr. Putu Yuliawati, Sp.M(K) became the best among 10 surgical video competition participants in the ophthalmologist category. In addition, another proud achievement obtained from one of our alumni, namely dr. Elvira with a score of 85.61 was ranked as the 8th best national exam of 123 graduates who underwent inuguration at the PVSM 2022. On that happy day, a number of 17th graduates of Ophthalmology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University underwent an official inauguration as ophthalmologist.

Congratulations on the achievements for the winners. Hopefully, this achievement can push the enthusiasm of ophthalmologists and residents to continue to add knowledge and add achievements to Udayana Opththalmology Study Program.
