Ophthalmology Udayana Guest Lecture Discusses Keratoconus and Dry Eye with Prof. Shizuka Koh
The Ophthalmology Specialist Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, successfully held the Ophthalmology Udayana Guest Lecture: Batch 1, themed “Transformative Insight into Keratoconus and Dry Eye: Pointing Out the Further Management and Scientific Report”. The event took place in the Main Meeting Room of the Polyclinic, 5th Floor, Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital.
This special lecture featured an esteemed international speaker, Prof. Shizuka Koh, MD, PhD, who shared insights on case report writing and provided an in-depth discussion on the management and scientific advancements related to keratoconus and dry eye. The event also included case presentations by ophthalmology residents, followed by an interactive discussion session with Prof. Shizuka and the audience.
In addition to delivering the lecture, Prof. Shizuka visited the ophthalmology clinic and conducted an examination of a patient with a special case, adding practical value to the academic discussions.
This event aims to broaden participants’ knowledge in ophthalmology, ultimately contributing to advancements in eye care and benefiting the wider community.
