Gathering and Welcome Event on The Sila's Agrotourism, Bedugul

Sunday, November 19, 2023, Gathering and Welcome Event of Ophthalmology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Udayana, located in The Sila's Agrotourism, Bedugul, Bali. This event is a manifestation of the activities of the study program in an effort to establish friendship and familiarity among the community of the Ophthalmology Study Program.

It was started with a warm welcome speech by Head of the Ophthalmology Department of Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, Dr. dr. I Wayan Gede Jayanegara, Sp.M(K) and Head of Ophthalmology Study Program, Dr. dr. A. A. Mas Putrawati Triningrat, Sp.M(K). After that the outbound event began. Groups were divided based on the color of the ribbon on the participant's arm. Each group is a random combination of consultants, residents, and staff. This outbound event is fully guided by The Sila's team which consists of several game posts. The participants looked enthusiastic and really enjoyed this game. After the winner of the outbound session was announced, the event continued to the lunch session.

After lunch, the Welcome Event began. Starting with opening remarks from the new resident captain, namely Dr. Willy Yahya, then the participants were given an introductory video from the new ophthalmology residents. The event continued with introductions and video performances, a symbolic pin installation by Dr. Dr. A. A. Mas Putrawati Triningrat, Sp.M(K) to dr. Willy Yahya, followed by installing name tags and pins to the remaining new residents, namely dr. Lisa Berliani Tanaya, dr. Maria Yovita Saraswati Pele Alu, dr. Dewa Ayu Ina Dianata, dr. A A. Ayu Putri Oktiadewi, dr. Pritha Amelia Nuraini Pattisahusiwa, dr. Aprilia Elisabet, and dr. Setya Ningrum Tefbana. The event continued with playing quizzes and games with the winner announced at the end.

With this gathering and welcome event, it is hoped that the closeness between the academic community of the Ophthalmology Study Program will become closer and communication between the community will be even better in the future.
