Farewell and Welcome Event of Ophthalmology Study Program Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University 2022

The farewell and welcome event for Ophthalmology Study Program Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University 2022 took place on Sunday, November 6^th 2022 at Neo Hotel West Gatot Subroto. This year, there were 12 new ophthalmologists who were released and 7 new residents who were welcomed. The new ophthalmologist who was released, namely dr. Andy William, Sp.M, dr. Angelina Surya Tallo, Sp.M, dr. I Gusti Ayu Dian Ratnasari, Sp.M, dr. I Kadek Agus Setiawan, Sp.M, dr. I Made Surya Dinajaya, Sp.M, dr. Elvira, Sp.M, dr. Abdi Sastra Gunanegara, Sp.M, dr. Ni Luh Putu Nurindah Sukmawati, Sp.M, dr. I Nyoman Cahya Setiabudi, Sp.M, dr. Putu Daivi Prakriti, Sp.M, dr. Alexander Theodore Samosir, Sp.M, and dr. Luh Putu Suryantini Septia Dewi. The new residents introduced through this event is the odd batch residents for the academic year 2022/2023, namely dr. Rataya Paramitha Maliawan, dr. Ni Nyoman Yuniasih, dr. Putu Rima Adilitha Widyasari, dr. Tiara Alexander, dr. Nyoman Tarita Dewi, dr. Ervan Suryanti Umbu Lapu, and dr. Franklin Refelino Jotlely.

 

The event was accompanied by a video of the new ophthalmologist, embedding the graduation sash, handing over a memento from the new ophthalmologist to Ophthalmology Study Program Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, as well as a live performance from the new ophthalmologist who was released. Also the introduction of new residents through an introductory video, live performance offerings from them, and the symbolic use of coats and name tags for the new residents. The event was closed with lunch, entertainment programs, and games with door prizes for the winners.

 

Hopefully the graduates of ophthalmologists who are released can work in society and continue to carry the good name of the almamater of Udayana University, and for the new residents, hopefully they will go well while undergoing their education. Hopefully with this event, it can increase the kinship of the entire big family of Ophthalmology Study Program Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
